For the past few days, I've racked my brain trying to come up with a website address that is both catchy, easy to remember, and significant towards me. I was originally going to use www.mctucky.com, but some fried chicken place in singapore already took it. Unbelievable.
So then I was thinking I'd just be all frank and upfront about it and just use my name, mikewoodruff.com. But that, too was taken.
To be honest I'm not even sure I want to be Mike Woodruff, the writer.
There's already plenty of us out there.
I need to think of a good pen name to use, but something in me just doesn't like the idea of taking a pen name. It's almost like some weird doppleganger is taking the credit that I deserve if I write under an alias.

Help me out, interfriends. I need names. Who am I?

You could have a pen name but reveal your real name after you've written a few books. I've heard of some writers that do that. If you're having trouble thinking of a name, you could always go to a baby names site and scroll through the list! I think Mike Woodruff is a good writer's name though. Or maybe you could call yourself M. Woodruff.

@scupht - atreyu woodruff sounds kind of cool, but i might take that idea one step further and use my great grandmother's cherokee name, whatever that was.
